Trying to explain who Shakespeare was
what his plays were,
what they were about,
to a ten year old
on summer vacation
I highlighted two
King Lear and the Tempest
She chose Richard III
oh what a web we wove
looking at one-page summaries
of plot and thought
a tempest indeed of images
villains, and beauty
