It's snowing now
as I write this note.
Little temporal curtains of snow
like pages of paper which
materialize and disappear
into a thousand pixels
They go by along with
the snow showers,
almost horizontal at times,
puffs and pulses,
between the two tenements
little swirls of white.
dancing and falling
to the white below,
accumulating white
where the yard was yesterday
because of the lack of snow
this strange winter
a winter with the first snow
a Valentine’s Day Nor’ Easter
with snow and sleet, and freezing rain
along the coast
It’s snowing still, five hours
since the starting lines of the poem
Cold snow, all silent and white
