We pray that Thy will, oh Lord
will be done, a prayer for the world
for the world for all time,
to be the heaven on earth
Thy kingdom here on earth
a safe place for man and God
a holy place, without war, with peace
that peaceable kingdom
a reality, if there were only Your will
in force, subsuming, replacing the will of man
of each one of us, flawed human choices
that created the schism
between man and God
at the very beginning.
As the Son said,
in the moment of crisis.
Thy will be done, Father
