Only five loaves, two fishes
not even enough for themselves
barely, just enough for the twelve
for the disciples, for Jesus, alone
But there was more than enough
abundantly provided, a miracle
all were fed, the whole congregation
fed beyond their need, abundantly blessed
God’s grace, his love, his bounty
heaped on them, on them all
On all of us, blessed daily, in his provision
more than enough for all
all who come to him
