The statement within her witness
so familiar, so real
repeatedly giving, turning over
her life to God, the creator,
sustainer, protector,
over and over, in the challenges
when there are trials,
the stormy seasons of life
How many of us, life her,
walking on our own,
believing we are in control
we have things figured out,
do not seek Him when things are fine
when there is no crisis in our lives
How many, though, like her
feeling God’s presence,
coming up beside us, walking with us
in the storm, His loving hand
The joy of walking with our Lord
bearing witness to His love
to the grace of His gifts
life, abundantly,
even within the storms
weathering these seasons
only by giving or lives over
to our loving God.
