In Connection

part of the process
like Christ, into the water
a baptism into the faith
the water of means
affirming the connection
with all who have gone before
into the waters with Christ
dying to the world, our old selves
up from the waters,
beloved of God
living, worshiping together
in connection with our Lord
with our God
calling the indwelling of the Spirit
changing our lives
from the inside out.
