after our waiting
the coming of the Lord
Preparing our hearts
in the words of the one
crying in the wilderness
repenting of our evil ways
following God more nearly
seeing our neighbors
as our brothers, our sisters
humbling ourselves
before the coming
the Advent of the Christ-child
washed in the waters
changing our ways
