Hide and Seek

Looking first toward the bus
looking for the girls
waving good bye
as they headed off to school

The sun bright, shining
peeking through the slate gray
the clouds not ready
to let it get away

Heading home
the clouds thickening
the sun outlined
through the screen

Like a game of
celestial hide and seek
the players dancing
across the sky
