Praying Christ’s Words
Over the open cup
the symbol of his blood
poured out for us
her hand as His must have been
in the stillness of the Upper Room
gathering us to Him
in remembrance
Praying Christ’s words
His offering to God
thanking Him for all
the Creator of the world
the Lamb before the cross
telling us to remember
His gift, at such a mighty cost
