How much we miss
seeing Christ’s face
the love of God
in his gift of grace
Limiting our joy
in trying to measure
to earn by our works
the entry into heaven
Why do we judge
against the old plumb line
the covenant today
in the blood of Christ
We only must turn
from the clay, the earth
to the love of God
for the whole world
