When We are in the Light
When we are in the light
the grace of God shining
the love of God raising
us from the grave
Needing to be mindful
not forgetting the darkness
the pit of our lives
when we were under the law
By grace only
gathered from the four winds
all of us sheep
of the one flock of the king
We are to remember
to share the love of Jesus
the depth of his mercy
for this he came down
Taking on our stain
the sin of the ages
dying that we
would rise in glory with him
Remembering to be witnesses
to sharing this holy message
despite the slings and arrows
standing up for the right
