After the desert
His time of testing
through the fire of temptation
beginning to speak
Rising there
before the congregation
the carpenter claiming
the mantle of his deity
The scriptures opened
in their presence
His neighbors unable
to believe their ears
Sent, by rejection,
His ministry beginning
the words of the prophet
come into life
