In the Palms Ashes

The truth of the prophecy
what would be fulfillment
the words of the Messiah
his suffering, his death
all of this scripted
in the pages of the word
in the story of the people
the people of the law
of the covenant
the creation
descended to that day
in the palms the ashes
of the suffering
the death of the Messiah
the sacrifice of Christ
becoming the sin offering
that we would not be lost
