Christ, in his closing
in celebrating the Passover
becoming the lamb
a sacrament of grace
Changing the ancient words
the words of remembering
that we all would know
a sacrament of grace
In sharing, we are there
with him ever
in the upper room
as one of his disciples
Tasting the bread
drinking of the cup
sensing the gravity
of the meaning of sharing
in his final meal
