Drawn Closer to God

in the quiet, in the words
in the singing together
drawing closer to God
to feel his message
his calling to us
as the first disciples
to come, to follow
to journey with Christ
released of our shackles
yet choosing to be servants
to serve our neighbors
to follow our Savior
in the way of the cross
