The Shell of the Chrysalis

Discarding my past, my sin
as I grow in Him, in God
in His love for me
His grace, alive in my heart
the Spirit indwelling
guiding my steps, my feet
leading me from this earth
giving me wings to leave dust
the shell of the Chrysalis below me
as I learn to fly
