Each of us part of the tapestry
the story of faith
the journey laid out for us
where our Master led
Frayed threads and new ones
each stitched into the fabric
together making the picture
revealing the face of God
each of us playing our part
all part of the one body
together serving our neighbors
offering the grace of God
together bearing our witness
sharing the light of Christ
frayed threads and new ones
in the tapestry of life
