A hint of God’s presence

Something in these words
never seen before
the hand of the Father
in the scheme unfolding
the decision of the leaders
to sacrifice the Savior
the healing that he would bring
in quelling rebellion
yet loosing God’s plan
his forgiveness, his grace
healing the nation
a hint of God’s presence
in the high priest’s prophecy
the death of the Christ
coming from heaven
to bring us to God
