Christ hides nothing from us

No longer servants, Christ calls us friends
commissioned to service,
his hands in this time
his feet for the journey
his voice for the weak
sharing his mission
to the ends of the earth

Christ hides nothing from us
the truth of the way
the journey may be hard
but worth it someday
the path narrow,
the gate of the cross
we must be prepared to suffer
to die to give us life
