Why do we look to the ground
why do we bow our heads
why don’t we lift our eyes
when we pray to God
He is in heaven
not below the ground
He sent his Son to save us
raising us from the dust
We should stand,
we should shout
risen, forgiven, alive
Up from ground
to heaven above
assured of eternal life
