rules at the table

I am angry that there are rules
rules at the Lord’s table
that some would be segregated
separated from his grace
that some are deemed unworthy
that any would stand in judgment
meting our God’s grace
as if it was theirs to give
coming to Christ’s table
a prayer that we will live
