Chartreuse Greening – v2

Spring quickly-growing
alive in the water
weeks of rain infusing
all the land with color
softness of the new leaves
buds unfurling, bursting
chartreuse greening
into deeper hues
spectrum expanding
the forest still alive, open
sharing hidden treasure
