primary colors

what is opening our vision
our understanding of God
like primary colors
not three people in one
part of one unity
all colors that they there are

each dancing with the other
in shades and hues,
by the rhythm, the purpose,
the love that is you

the blue of the father,
the creator, God,
from the waters, the deep
all came to be

red of the Savior
taking on our flesh
bleeding and dying
rising to the heights

yellow of the Spirit
God’s light shining through
guiding, leading
on our journey to You
