the cloth that had covered Christ’s face
folded, set apart
like the linen
which cover the elements
the bread and the cup
his body, his blood
the folded cloth
speaking so much
not stolen, discarded
ripped from his tomb
to be left in a heap
Reverently folded
speaking so much
Christ truly risen
folded for a purpose
part of God’s plan,
may we see and believe
