like the Jewish people

in the story of the Passover

their captivity in Egypt

and how God saved them

how God set them free

our slavery to sin

to the wages, death,

since Adam we were convicted

destined for the grave

Christ bought our freedom

the new blood covenant

delivering us from the judgment

that was placed upon us
