we kneel before You – v3

we bow before You
Almighty God
we fall to the ground
we kneel before You
before the cross
the enormity of the breach.

we fall prostrate
so sure of our sin
our distance from You
we kneel before You, Savior,
Creator of everything.

we bow before You
we prostrate ourselves
our lives and open book
as they always were
known by You completely
yet You love us still.

we ask for Your mercy
for You infinite grace
to fall down upon us
that You would touch us
and redeem us again.

we bow before You
our Lord and our God
we fall to the ground
aware of our station,
the distance between us
and Almighty God.
