at the menagerie
the
group that followed Him;
I
wonder what people must have thought
as
Jesus came toward them
Who
are these guys
how
could God choose them;
what
did Jesus think, really,
when
He named the twelve disciples
Who
are these guys
this
ragtag collection
of
fishermen, merchants
poor
simple folk
How
did they start the church
the
tide that has risen;
how
did such simple folk
transform
the world
