we had nothing, we were empty
filled only with the
world
we were in rebellion, mired in sin
feeding only our flesh
God gave us everything
redeeming us from the
dust
filling us with God’s
Spirit
washing us with Christ’s
blood
we now have a righteousness
a clean heart before God
filled with the Spirit
we walk the path God has
written
before we were born
