I carry the story with me
how God has guided my
life
the place of God’s
provision
even in the darkness
I know God was there
I carry the story with me
the past, my steps, my
journey
when I have felt God with
me
and when I know God was
there
looking in my memory
I carry the story with me
for only within the
story, my life,
telling my struggle, my
memory
feeling God’s love,
forgiveness
how Christ has set me
free
