Christ sat down beside me

I was broken, hurting,
I cried out to God;
The bubble was burst
the truth of the lie exposed.

Christ sat down beside me
in my shame, my grief;
Christ offered me comfort
a place of healing, of rest.

I was broken, hurting,
I cried out to God;
You opened Your arms to me
in Your house, oh God.
