Our lives are so fleeting
only
seconds in eternity
a
whisper in the darkness
a
mere breath in creation
without
mass or weight
all
of our lives but a breath.
Yet
You love us, oh God;
You
are our strength,
our
refuge, our fortress
in
our times of stress
in
the midst of our struggles
each
moment on our walk.
How
You love us is amazing
without
merit, unending,
when
we are but a breath
without
mass or weight,
a
whisper in the darkness
a
mere breath in creation.
