if
we are honest, if we are open;
we
each can say these words
of
the Psalmist, of the people,
of
those who share our walk.
Oh
God, I am shattered,
I
am broken, I am damaged
I
am whipsawed by life;
I
am hurting, I need healing
in
my walk, in my faith.
Oh
God, we come before you,
if
we are honest, if we are open;
we
each can say these words
of
the Psalmist, of the people,
of
those who share our walk.
Only
You, oh God, can save me
in
my trials, my troubles
only
You, oh God, can heal me;
You
are my refuge, my fortress
the
foundation of my walk.
