we are stuck, frozen, babbling like Peter
with
the risen Christ standing before us
calling
us to mission, to service
to
take up our cross, our work
overwhelmed
in the moment
our
minds reeling like Peter
frozen,
babbling nonsense
before
the living, risen Christ
ours
is not to question
to
wonder at God’s purpose,
God’s
plan for our lives, each moment
ours
is to follow, to pick up our cross
