In the finished work of Christ – v2

In the finished work of Christ,
in ministry, on the cross,
in the resurrection, ascension,
now seat on the throne,
I am forgiven, made righteous,
my salvation is assured…
 
In the finished work of Christ,
His triumph over sin and death,
all my fears put to rest, victors,
I wear a crown of righteousness,
I am richly blessed, gifted,
in Him I have new life…
 
In the finished work of Christ,
the hope for humanity, for life,
raised from the dead, redeemed,
a way through the waters of life,
to stand with Him in heaven,
to praise God forevermore…
