deeper roots – v2

not susceptible to drought
to barren times, to desert,
deeper roots for the trees
planted by living waters…
 
life in abundance
fruit in every dry season
stable, planted, not shallow,
deeper roots of love…
 
so may we be, beloved,
deep, not superficial,
our roots planted deeply
by streams of living water…
