God the Father spoke a word
Light to pierce the chaos
to heal, to create, to build
the universe, life…
 
God spoke light into the world
descending to earth,
the immortal made mortal,
eternity made flesh…
 
God is here with us,
now living within us,
all of eternity, of peace,
in the word of light…
