Communion, this feast,

from that dark night

when Christ was betrayed

offering His life for us.

Words Christ added

making the meal

personal, real

transformed forever.

Changing the cup, the bread,

His body and blood instead;

No longer ritual,

personal, for us.

I accept Christ

His offer, His grace

I confess Christ

as my Savior eternal

I confess Jesus Christ

as my Lord and Savior

I confess Christ

as Master of my life

I do not have control

I never really did

I give it all to Him

my hope in everything

I submit my will

only to Jesus

I submit my will

to God above

I confess Jesus Christ

and no other

as Lord and Savior
