needing to be open;

We need to listen closely

when our children teach us

We are lifted up,

I need to remember

I need to trust

because I am never alone

on my journey,

in this walk.

God is with us

on my shoulder

as I walk in life;

God is here to guide me

to direct me;

the yoke of Christ

is upon me,

in every step,

as I walk in life

It is in the little things

the small decisions

on the journey that matter.

The choices to be made,

the choices to remain

to stay true to God

or to turn, to run away;

We are called to be Christ

to share love as He does

to be a blessing, to be light,

in every step, each moment,

as I as I journey forward,

in every step,

as I walk in life

If those days will not be numbered

time will be without end

each one of the days a blessing

in the courts of God

Heaven is more than a place

it is a state of being

changing our essence

to be like God

Light beings alive

living forever

time will be without end

no meaning as we live them

On a different plane

existing forever

in perfection, with our Savior,

in the courts of God.
