High up in the pure blue sky
clear blue, without clouds
the face of the half moon
reflecting the light of the sun

If we are to be the light to the nations
reflecting God’s light, God’s love
to everyone, everywhere
into the darkest dungeon,
the heart with despair,
offering hope, light
to all the world
