Holy words of love
written for you and me
filling the pages of the book
where we find hope, instruction
our history, their history
the laws, the ordinances, the ways
to You, our Father;
But mostly, the words lead to Your son
to our brother, the Christ
the one who set the example
being born, being love.
In the end, all the words
lead to you Jesus, our savior.
