The sky blue, over the city
the face of the three-quarter moon
turned up and to the left
the roundness plain in the sky
a marble suspended in space
watching down on us,
character and history visible
in its glowing face
reminding me once more
of the words penned earlier this week
the message in the memory
the reflecting of light
we are called to do,
using the moon as our example,
