We are traveling, this Epiphany season
following the star, his bright star
traveling, journeying, like the Magi
the astrologers, the wise men from the east
following his story, our faith, to his bed
coming to the newborn king,
to the wonder of his birth
his humble throne, the stable,
his father, the mother and child
We carry our gifts, like the Magi
traveling far, following his star
still shining brightly
in the ever present darkness
