Wet Ivy
Deep into summer
July green sky,
dark clouds late afternoon
wet ivy under the canopy
up the two-story elm
clinging, climbing
wet, deep forest green
jarring my eyes
tropical
banana leaves
in the lush rainforest
exotic, wet ivy
