Such much more to the story
than the moment in our worship
the bit of bread, the cup of juice
shared at the altar rail
A history, connection
to that small upper room
A sharing around the world
one meal that we share
A lifetime of service
helping others with their daily bread
the prayer of the Lord
a lesson on how we are led
Our brothers, our sisters
all who are in need
joining is at the one table
his meal, his body
in the breaking of the bread
and the sharing of the cup
