In the words he raised
all of our prayers
raised up, offered at your rail
laid at the foot of the cross
Somehow, this morning
Sensing, feeling the weights lifted
the hearts of the believers
my brothers, my sisters
Those in your sanctuary
their hearts unburdened
lightened by the words of prayer
turning our concerns over
to you our father
Trusting in your presence
your loving answers to prayer.
