Life Eternal

Our reward
the gift of our faith
the sacrifice of Christ
the grace of our God

If we follow Him
if we pick up our cross
serving our neighbors
the least and the lost

We may rise
with the wings of angels
high above the world
to our heavenly home

Unlike the rich man
descending to the fires
our lives submitted
to the will of God

Turning from the earth
from worldly possessions
storing up a treasure,
a future to share them
where the waters flow
and the streets are paved in gold
