Too Late

Change before it is too late
before our eyes are opened in hell
like the rich man in agony
raging in the fires

Our eyes may be blind
only coming to see
the life that we live unacceptable
unholy before our king

Turn and follow the scripture
the law and the prophets
all of us children of God
yet needing his loving grace

Change before it is too late
our lives on the line
conform our path to the Christ
and leave the world behind.
