Not abject lessons
the reading of scripture
Christ conveying God’s message
in stories they could relate to
that they would understand
We are the same
needing concrete lessons
real world examples
on how to live our lives
Just like the rich man,
ignoring poor Lazarus,
forgetting our neighbors
even those we know by name
hidden in plain sight
