We must not be silent
about the commands, the lessons of Christ
in the pages of the scripture
the living word in our hands
Ours are the voices
the ones to spread the news
to share the message of love
to the whole world
It is for the living
those in each time and place
to bring the word of God
to the people of the world
No time like the present
because we do not know the story
the pages known only to God
not while we walk on the earth
