What we like the least
Sometimes the tasks are mundane
downright humbling
but that is part of the story’
of what it means to be his disciple
Like Christ himself
humbly, on his knees
washing the disciples feet
in the upper room
To be a shepherd
a witness for Christ
is to be a servant
humble before God
Faithful to our calling
to whatever we are called
to serve faithfully
giving it our all
All the work important
to spread the good news
all of it sacred
no matter our point of view
